About pH.

pH., like so many things, is a labor of love.

Often, much is overlooked or deserves a second thought, or at least some reflection. pH. Is a chance to do that.

We’ll explore politics, justice, the environment, tech, and health, and try to do a passable job. We know this is a challenge, but one thing is certain: many issues need a second look, beyond initial reporting and opinion.

Of course, it’s all opinion, but hopefully what we cover is worth a second glance—a deep second glance, that gets you thinking and creates a rumbling in your bones.

Then you take that rumble, go outside, and do something good for the world.

Hopefully, we can help with this. Please let us know how we can try.

About the Author & Illustrator

Paul Antoniades has always confronted perplexity with query, since perplexity has dominated most of his life.

Raised in California and forged in New York—actually, much earlier (through the cultural ethos of some drawing room in Cyprus) he has tried to grapple with the meaning of things and keep that meaning from being overwhelmed, subsumed, or merely murdered in its sleep.

He founded Processhouse, Inc. to model a method that can move an organization far beyond its chronic issues. He returned to his design roots in the early 2000’s and worked on select projects with an international team of programmers and designers.

pH. An Idea Blog arose out of fascination for social media, and yet ironically, a stunning revulsion. He sought to communicate in text and image, but the volume of content was as daunting as it was intriguing. COVID became the opportunity to absorb this challenge.

Blogging and illustrating throughout COVID led to the dreaded elections of 2020. Discourse became political, and, well, here we are.

When not actually trying to publish pH., Paul loves spending time with his family and going to his favorite cafe.

If you see him there, please leave him alone, because he is probably drawing.

(Kidding. Say, hi.)
